Forget computers, the human brain is the most complex machine that has ever existed, at least in the history of our planet. So much of it is still largely a mystery to neuroscientists.
Fascination with how our brains work has grown in recent years, so much so that last year the Obama administration proposed the Brain Activity Map Project, a bold research initiative intended to map the activity of every neuron in the human brain.
